Mr. Hoover has accrued over 30 years of project management experience in industrial, commercial, and residential projects, domestically and internationally. He demonstrates uncanny astuteness in managing multiple projects from strategy through customer defined completion excellence. He is particularly known for helping customers to refine and successfully adapt sustainable (green) technology solutions including wind and water turbine energy solutions and magnesium oxide building products that are mold, termite and wind proof up to 200 miles per hour.
Mr. Hoover's worldwide industrial projects management experience includes plant manufacturing expansions in the pulp and paper and power industries, as well as the design, development and installation of bulk material handling equipment, and pulp/paper wood yard systems. His commercial projects development, construction, maintenance and asset management experience has included manufacturing, office, university and industry research facilities, green demonstration development buildings, and large retail facilities.
Mr. Hoover's residential projects include new home, apartment and condominium community planning, green design and construction.
Notable national and international projects managed by Larry Hoover include $50MM Macmillan Bloedel MDF facility, $88MM Clarion Pennsylvania Plant; $2.2MM ESI, Inc., Kennesaw, Georgia facility; $19MM Tenneco Packaging facility; $18MM Energy Two, Inc facility, Tomahawk, Wisconsin; $15MM Fulghum Industries plant, Wadley, Georgia; $5.6MM U. S. Chips / TMS plant Louisville, Mississippi. His international projects include $128 MM Liancel Chip Mill, Lianteen, Chile, South America; $179MM Canterbury Timber Products, Rangoria, New Zealand; and $168MM North Forest Products Mill, Bernie, Tasmania, Australia. Mr. Hoover also served as project engineer with Davis Crane and Conveyor of Marietta, Georgia, responsible for the manufacture and installation of hundreds of millions of dollars of overhead bridge cranes and material handling equipment for the automotive industries.
Larry Hoover has served as a green products and energy conservation design consultant to numerous Chinese companies and as a hurricane and environmental products consultant to the Florida A&M Hurricane Institute for the promulgation of sustainable building products for the gulf coast of the United States.
Mr. Hoover possesses an Engineering Degree in Mechanical Design from the Triangle Institute of Technology in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, his CPM from Auburn University; ISO 9000 @ GPT, Atlanta, Georgia; Hazardous Waste Management & SARA Title III & OSHA Right-to-know @ ERC, Atlanta, Georgia; he is also Certified as a Firefighter by the State of Georgia and has served as a senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
